    Ice Bear

No. not what you think. It's a Zamboni type machine. My gym and swimming pool share the building with two ice rinks. I decided to bring my A6600 and 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS lens to see how well it would do under the lighting conditions of the rinks.

I figured that 1/250 second wide open at f/6.3 would be a decent shutter speed and f/stop to use so, I set the camera for that combination at Auto ISO. Turned out that there were no skaters since they were smoothing the ice rink with an Ice Bear or Zamboni type machine.

However, it seems like the lens will do O.K. in this venue. The auto ISO was 2500; within the capabilities of the camera.

I shot this at 87mm or 130.5mm equivalent.

I could even, if I needed to, increase the shutter speed a bit more.

Next time, I will try the A7iii and 70-200mm f/4 G OSS lens.

Image looks good for exposure, did you have to rotate the image during processing?
