Fallen Oak - hmmm .... what next?

Just a snap with the Samsung cell-phone but it tells this story:

From the property to town there is only one road.

So off I went to town one day but, when I came back, this is what greeted me.

Fallen Oak - hmmm .... what next?

Like, home was 2+ miles away on the other side of that tree! Fortunately, the gentleman et alia cleared it up with about an hour of hard work.

"Home, James, and don't spare the chainsaws".

Good thing there wasn't any emergency medical issue that you needed to get into town for...

I can relate to this. Driving home from the gym one rainy and windy night, a giant eucalyptus tree fell right in front of me.

I began tapping the breaks to avoid skidding on the wet road and to warn drivers behind me that I was slowing.

Luckily I was able to avoid the tree by driving around it, The drivers behind me were not that fortunate, I heard a crash as one car hit the downed tree and another crash as a car piled into the one that hit the tree

Needless to say, my Adrenalin was pumping like mad!

This always happens right after I've finished a Big Gulp, nicely seen and captured.
