Parliament Hill - Sound and Light Show

I did my annual visit downtown to Parliament Hill to shoot the Centre Block and Peace Tower sections of the Canadian Parliament Buildings with the Christmas sound and light show this evening.

The whole area is under construction with a decade long renovation process, so much of the area is a construction zone this year, which explains the fencing in front of the building.

Yes the sky really is that orange tone; a combination of light pollution and fog / haze rising from the Ottawa River that flows just behind the site.

We experienced a similar happening on a visit to Brisbane from NZ, earlier this year, Manfred. The town hall was lit up in different colours. If I had some of your skill then I would be posting my efforts here, but alas not. Well done!
