However, the little girl is eating very well for us now. We are feeding her a mixture of ground puppy kibble and a high caloric rescue canned food that we feed to all of our new puppies, especially those taken from the mother too early like we suspect that Christy was....
She is approximately six weeks old and weighs a little more than a pound.
She is doing great and is woofing down several little bowls of food each day. Christy was falling asleep after her morning meal when I snapped this image...
We will keep her for several weeks and then place her for adoption into a carefully selected home...
