Lovely...
Week 5--Chair-LaConner

Perhaps it is just the monitor where I see this photo but it looks a little blurry...
You have here a nice symmetry Judith. However, this could be enhanced with a more homogeneous background.
Have you got any other shot of the same subject with the same criterion ?
Week5 Chair, I like the composition and the wicker looks like its coating in snow, the background behind the headrest has what looks like effects of editing though.
I too like the chair and the composition.
I found that the bright white paint draws the eye and felt that a bit more texture in the brightly-exposed wickerwork would be beneficial:
Processed in RawTherapee. Mainly pulled down the whites with a "concave" tone curve, added Contrast By Detail Levels and also applied some sharpening. My adjustments were a little exaggerated by way of illustration.
Sometimes images with lots of brights can lack texture because of the infamous gamma compensation curve.
HTH.
Thanks, Antonio, John, Manfred and Ted. Always good to get the perspective of other good eyes!
Week 6--The Hinge

The hinge, nicely seen and captured, the textures and lines would've given you a more dynamic flow if you had stood at an angle to the wall.
Week 7: Surprise in the Forest---Came upon this during a walk in a local park. Not a composite! Just a fun surprise to share.

Indeed ... what a surprise!
Why is the statue there ? In which context ?
This tree is on a lesser used path and has a perfect crotch (fork about eye level) into which to place objects. It also has a nice niche in its base that is great for fairy houses or other scenes. One or more folks have made a habit of leaving things here for fun. I had not been there for some time so enjoyed seeing what was there this time. Interactive public art at it's best.
Nicely seen and captured.
