    In fact it was pure chance, but I contend that in both shots there could be black keys depressed without them being visible from this angle.

    By the way, I disagree about the likelihood of black keys being depressed, additionally that was certainly not the purpose of the question: I was only asking about your intent for the images.

    Also by the way - I agree about that there is Subject Movement (head) caused by too slow a Shutter Speed used, and I also agree that the DoF is adequate in that shot.

    From an Artistic Critique point of view, that particular Subject Movement Blur in that shot doesn't perturb me very much, certainly not as much as the (lack of) the dynamic of the Key's Depression.

    They are good shots. Bravo. And yes I do understand the conditions of this type of shooting scenario.
