I still see it--though it is lessened. not a big deal

Images like this one intrigues me. There are so many angles and textures to work with. This would be beyond my expertise, I think.

That is likely related to the size of the screen you are looking at. Moiré develops when narrow sets of parallel lines are set overlap and cause interference patterns. As the lines are not visible in the original image, the dots on your viewing screen are set up as lines and will cause this effect. The larger the screen and the larger the image, the more likely you won't see these patterns.
