    Under Construction #1

This is the first image of a series of 5 (B&W prints) that I am working on showing a large industrial facility during the final stages of construction / fit up.

This is the interior of the main entrance of the building.

Interesting--is the moire an artifact or part of the design?

The moiré effect is only noticeable here. Click on the image to expand it and it disappears.

Images like this one intrigues me. There are so many angles and textures to work with. This would be beyond my expertise, I think.

Good luck with this image for I think You'd not be satisfied as it stands.
    Cheers Ole

That is likely related to the size of the screen you are looking at. Moiré develops when narrow sets of parallel lines are set overlap and cause interference patterns. As the lines are not visible in the original image, the dots on your viewing screen are set up as lines and will cause this effect. The larger the screen and the larger the image, the more likely you won't see these patterns.
