    Dog walking in mist

This is an elderly gentleman walking his dog on a cold misty morning.
Is the atmosphere increased in colour or mono. I prefer mono but I would like to hear your thoughts.

I liked the monochrome. i am confused about how i see the dog; is that white puffy part the head of dog, or is its head not seen?

I slightly prefer the colour version because the mist seems to be more mistier that way; if that makes any sense.

But in either case, if the man is the main subject I wonder about a slight crop from the bottom and right side ?

I prefer the monochrome. However, this looks like the horizon line is off by about 12 degrees. the surface of the path, the man, and the trees are all leaning to the left.

I prefer the colour version because it makes the dampness of the path and of the vegetation more evident. If this were mine, I would try to slightly reduce the contrast of the bottom part of the image.

Both work as the color version has a monochrome, almost selective color rendering to it. Yes there are glimpses of yellow and blue within the composition, however neither color dominates the greens and grays.

I like the color but I would tone down the greens a bit so you see just a hint of green.

I prefer the mono and agree that some straightening could be helpful. If you are doing the b& w conversion in Photoshop I would encourage you to work on the color values a bit more. Nice image!
