It has nice content; yet a bit too tight crop; the white part on the left bottom part is a distraction

Overall an image that hits the theme of this time of year perfectly. I love the look of determination on your subject's face but do wonder on how effective an umbrella is going to be in this type of weather...
I'm not loving that large green mass on the right (I assume it is a hedge), as it is not doing anything for the image. I suggest cropping most of it out, which puts more attention onto your subject.
I'm not sure you nailed the focus either. Parts of the umbrella appear to be fairly sharp, but your subject is soft, so I suspect the camera selected the wrong place to focus.
I find the whole image just a touch on the yellow side and find that your subject's face looks almost orange; a bit of a white balance issue.
Have a peak at your histogram A bit muddy too; look at your histogram and set your white point accordingly to up the global contrast. Fresh snow is white. The image does look a touch underexposed.
