Kris - Welcome to the group from me as well.

Hi Kris, welcome to CiC.
The scene itself is very attractive and restful, and the colours seem to add to the strength of it. I think there are some problems though with the processing. You have some very dark areas, and the colours seem to me to be over-saturated.
Did you shoot this in RAW mode? If so, and you would like me to try editing it in CS5, I'll have a go for you. You can upload it to HERE and PM me the link so no-one else can take a copy. Up to you.
Hello,
Unfortunatly it wasnt shot in raw, but in CS5 i hdr toned the image.
I will get around to uploading the picture to mediafire for you so you can have a play, but maybe i was thinking adding a few control points on the image and maybe brightning them up a tad?
Thanks
Kris
I really like this.
I think the dark areas really make the buildings and boats stand out. It's a nice effect!
Where is it?
Where does one find that info from a pic?
EDIT: Ah... http://exifdata.com/exif.php
Hi Kris. Welcome to the group. I am a starter too. I love the shot as is. Yes the blacks are really dark but
contrast well against the well defined clear lit up buildings. If that was my shot I would be happy. However, I
am a beginner. I would love to see what Rob can do with it!!!!
