Sorry, but it still doesn't work for me. A large amount of out-of-focus material in the foreground, as in #1, is usually distracting and even uncomfortable. And by shooting quite wide, you limited how much is in focus in #1 and #2. #3 seems to be entirely out of focus.
I think a diagonal like the first two might work, if you carefully put the patterns of interest in focus and the rest out of focus. That would require at least a much narrower aperture, and possibly focus stacking.

For me still viewed as an abstract so cropping doesn't matter; its all about approaching it from an imaginative perspective. By cropping you are trying to conform the image to your view of it not the viewers choice.

I liked the first image; i would love to crop away 1/4th upper part to retain the rest
