Excellent image Jim - bordering on the abstract.
If it were my image, I would do some clone / fill work at the top and bottom right corners to add a bit more fur. I'd also try to get some of those magenta and red tones out.

I love it. Please work on it. Maybe increase contrast in various areas of that glorious fur to really set the face up. Definitely get rid of the magenta and red tones, magenta in particular.
