    Molly with Sony 70-350mm lens

I used my 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS lens on the A6600 for this shot. I shot wide open at f/6.3 using ISO 100 and managed to get some background separation even with that slow aperture...

Of course, a bit of cropping always helps...

She was squinting from the bright sun. I'll shoot some more this afternoon...

Re: Molly with Sony 70-350mm lens

Thank you Raymond. I had been searching for a relatively lightweight telephoto lens with decent IQ for my APSC Sony cameras and I think that I found it...

Funny thing is that there have been lots of grumbles on the Internet because the zoom control ring of the Tamron 28-75mm lens is closest to the end of the lens while the focus ring is closest to the body; many lenses have the zoom control closest to the camera body and focus control at the front. Well, the Sony 70-350mm G lens has the zoom and focus rings set up like the Tamron. This makes it really easy to use the two lenses in tandem. Easy on my muscle memory!
