Lake at Arcizans Avant in the Hautes Pyrenées

At the end of the road about 100m from the house I stayed in at Arcizans Avant in Hautes Pyrenées summer 2019.

What a lovely setting; nicely captured. I love getting out to the mountains and is something we really don't do often enough.

When I look at this image, I find it is just a touch too "loud" and needs to be calmed down to enhance the peacefulness of the scene. The bright sky (and its reflection) need to be toned down and some of the trees need to be brightened up. Perhaps a tiny bit too much sky?

I quite like the symmetrical (almost) crop...

You’ve captured a lovely scene, well done. The mix of the colours in the landscape the white of the snow, green foliage and blue sky come together well.

A wonderful scene and reflection, and I think I prefer it with less of the real sky. (I wonder also about the sides of the frame cutting through the buildings?)
