I’ll pencil that in to try sometime Manfred . Certainly an imperfection, did you consider breaking off one of the pencil points

I think if the pencil's colors were the same you might be able to get away with it.

Actually, they are chopsticks that are in the shape of pencil crayons...

The hidden personal "joke" in the image is that the wooden rice bowl is full of brown rice, rather than the sticky rice preferred by most Japanese. It's difficult to eat with chopsticks because it does not stick together in lumps.

Perhaps the colours of the "pencils" should match the colours of the decoration of the bowl...
