On p345 (where it is open), it shows the Canon EOS D30 (not 30D) which was the first APS-C DSLR to be produced from the ground up - previous units were a hybrid of SLRs and Kodak innards. As the book says it changed the face of digital photography and because of that book I went out and go the camera that is placed at the top of the page - something you will observe is identical to the image on the page. With 3.2MP on the sensor, it takes great images!
