I'm more interested in the compositional aspects of photography than the technical although I've become aware of how greater technical proficiency can enhance compositional skills. I particularly like "street photography and/or reportage" (sadly, as we've seen recently in the campaign there is much greater sensitivity about public photography than there used to be. In addition I'm interested in landscape photography. I have a great enthusiasm for black and white photography although I work also in colour. The photographers I most admire are Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Eugene Smith, Ansel Adams, Jane Bown and Don McCullin. So, I'm looking forward to hearing from members as time goes on. Warmest regards to all, John
