What is your current level of experience? What sort of things do you like photographing?
Hello,
My Name is Barbara. I have been photographing for 20 years.
Currently the Fuji S3 is my choice to create images in the Washington DC area.
My interest includes portrait & scenic photography. I decided to join this group and see if I could learn about photo stitching.

There are plenty of people on here who are masters and mistresses of stitching ... but I'm not one of them, I'm afraid.
But please do get involved by posting up questions - Start a thread and start a discussion. And don't forget to then post up your images for comment.
Lovely to have you join us and a very warm welcome.

Hello and welcome to CiC.
I am sure you will find that this forum and its tutorial sections support the lessons that you are already undertaking. You will find that other members are very willing to share their knoweldge, so please do ask any questions that you have.
I look foirward to seeing some of your pictures.
Rebecca is fine, I would change be username but not sure if I can, so either will do.
I was trying to figure out why I didn't have a camera in the picture and then realised it was being used to take the picture.
I have lots more photos of you but thought I would stick with that picture for the moment
Hello All, my name is Warren and I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, but now live outside of Columbus Ohio in Newark. I currently work for The Ohio State University Medical Center as an imaging equipment technician maintaining our imaging rooms. I have been interested in photography since the mid 70's and for awhile was quite active in it taking courses at Columbia College in Chicago while running an "in home" studio specializing in wedding and portrait photography. I had drifted away from photography in the mid 90's, but purchased a Canon 40D in 2009 and started photographing again. My primary interest is landscape photography, but I don't limit myself to that. I have only recently started exploring the B&W capabilities of the camera and digital photography using the canon software that came with the camera. I look forward to exchanging ideas on this forum and learning about digital photography from all of you. Warren
A very warm welcome, Warren and great to have you on board CiC.
And already we can deduce what a discerning a quality-minded person you are ... from a fellow 40D'er!... but purchased a Canon 40D in 2009
If you've been looking at the forum for any time, you'll have seen that as well as being informal and fun, this is a place very much dedicated to helping people develop their knowledge and skills. Lots of people on here have lots of knowledge and experience that they are more than happy to share. You only have to ask.
Good day to all! I'm new here and my name is Angelo but I'm usually called by Gelo, Jello, Jelow.. Hope to learn more new things about photography and this GAS-addicting (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) hobby. I'm more into macro and still life photography and I'm still on my way on getting my own macro lens. For the mean time, I'm learning portraiture.
I would really appreciate getting tips on how to improve my photography skills and my as well as my photos. I hope to contribute and share my knowledge and ideas too.
I target to go pro within the year or so. Tips on how to do business when it comes to photography are also welcome.
Cheers!
Good Day to You All !!!

I have been interested in Photography since I was young, but I have no chance to buy a camera . I got my first DSLR (EOS 500D) on last year April. After that I upgraded my body to EOS 60D on last November.
I am very happy to see this forum, because here I can study about Photography Tips and Techniques. I am just a beginner and I wish to learn more from you all. Please guide to me. I hope that I can share my knowledge here.
I would like to share my photos here. Please feel free to comments and advise me to get better.
Thanks & Regards
Zeal
Hi Guys, I am Cemil from Türkiye. I am an amateur photographer and I think that photography is a life style. I want to explain my point of view about taking photograph with this pass;
Taking photograph are magical moments. Imagine, an autumn' s first light, it is gently raining, the leaves are dancing with yellow, orange, light borwn and mixtures... While your brain gets drunk with the music, you and your camera be one ...
Hello and welcome to CiC. You're very, very lucky you managed to find us, because this is one of the very few photography places where gear-heads don't inhabit. If they do, they soon get put off when no-one takes them on. The overwhelming ethos on here is that equipoment is a means to an end, not the end in itself. If people want to spend their time talking about equipment rather than how it can be put to use to create wonderful images, there are lots of places where they can do that.
I hope you've already seen that CiC is a wonderful resource for learning. Please join in and I look forward to seeing some of your images.
hello, I am melissa in the USA and I just found this wonderful site. I am a self-employed photographer, wife, and mom to 3 kids. I shoot a Canon 5D Mark II with multiple lenses. I love my high school clients, as well as working on art prints. I am looking forward to finding inspiration among the photographers in this community.
