Good morning, at least it is here

I joined this rather august group to suck your brains of all things related to photography and PP
and maybe...impart a little of my own recently accumulated knowledge of the same.

My gear revolves around a Canon 1Ds Mk III and assorted "L" lenses with a current interest in macro.

I should warn you up front that my sense of humor is sometimes a bit warped. :D

Hi... My name is Harinder. I live in Chandigarh, India. I have always had an interest in photography, even though I never really like my picture taken of me. I am a new member. I live in Sydney, Australia on the Northern Beaches. I am very much an amateur photographer that is really excited about learning more. My ideal would be to take some excellent pictures to share on my blog with my family, friends and other viewers. My hobbies are food/cooking, wine, travel and people. I have a Canon EOS 450D but am looking to upgrade to a full frame sensor camera and some better lenses. Any advice is welcome!

Hello, my name is Rhett and I am 15 years old and I own a pentax k100 d that I got from my dad. He now uses the pentax k5 and is in to photography much more than me but I like to tag along when he goes out taking pictures.

Hello!
My name is Bernardo and I'm an architect, I've been doing for the past two decades, mostly photography of construction sites, before, during and after, it's not artistic but it's fun.
With the DSLR event it became even more useful, mainly because one can see the full size picture on the computer screen and look for details which were only possible to visualize on a projection of a 35mm film slide (I did a lot of this).
Since the construction sites are a place where I usually carry a camera I had this idea of photographing workers, not easy do, the project is still on it's early stages.
I guess I'm joining because a have a lot to learn about DSLR photography.

I have a Nikon FM2 35mm film camera with a 35/70mm zoom lens. (not in use for the past 6 years)
I'm using either a Canon 350D or 400D with a 18/55mm, f 3.5-5.6, that belong to my brothers :)

That sounds like an excellent project. I can imagine that there will be many opportunities for very good pictures.

My name is Emma and i live in NSW, Australia (in the middle of no where).
I have always been interested in photography and am now wanting to concentrate on becoming good at taking photos at horse shows.

I have a Nikon D60.

Hello my name is Henry. I live in Pico Rivera CA which is in Los Angeles County. Never had a professional camera, just use an old Samsung but will be upgrading soon. My main interest is enhancment and restoration. Will be getting into portraits when I get new camera. I have some older photo videos on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/HenryJoaquin. I've improved since then but havent gotten around to making new vids. Looking forward to "meet" fellow enthuists on this site, will be a big help!

Hi! I'm Giannis and I live in Greece. I'm new to photography. I was searching for camera tips/lessons and found this brilliant little site!
Right now i own a Sony Cybershot DSC-P92 (which I find very limiting...) and I'm experimenting with composition and some close-ups of flowers and plants.
I want to upgrade to a dSLR to try macro-photography some day!
I have seen very beautiful and stunning pictures so far here (which makes me a little jealous) but i guess i'll upload a humble photo of mine...:o
