Greetings to all. Been taking photographs a long time but digital cameras were a break-through for my creative side. Having fun and learning how to improve on the processing end. Better brain exercise than Sudoko! Look forward to sharing and learning from fellow travelers in the world of photography.

Good Morning Everyone!

My name is Amy, I currently reside in the state of Michigan. I have always been interested in photography as far back as I can remember. My current tool of choice is a Nikon D7000. I still have loads to learn about it, I jumped from a point and shoot to this a few months ago.

I enjoy doing senior portraits for those that cannot afford to have them done, my way of giving back to my community.

I will value all feedback on my images and look forward to learning from all of you.

Took up photography a couple of years ago when I retired. Am very keen to learn as much as I can. Currently trying to move away from my comfort zone of photographing birds and butterflies. I find cambridge tutorials exteremely helpful - I just wish I had a younger brain.:) Helen (uk)

Hello! I am a photographer on the Gulf Coast in the USA and am working towards becoming a professional photographer/photojournalist. I am already working and being paid (yay!) by our local newspaper as well as a state-wide online news service. I am looking forward to learning from this all of you in these threads. Thanks. Cindy

As well as you learning from others (as we all can), I hope your knowledge and experience will also be shared with others to their benefit. CiC is that sort of community.

Hi,
i started photographing less than a year ago. As of now i am shooting with a leicaflex SL2 that i inherited (hence the name ;))
I only found this site today and i'm already amazed at the content it offers. I'll most likely buy a DSLR soon so hopefully i can post some pictures and contribute soon.

I think you are right - there are a number of hugely creative and talented people on here. And the wonderful thing about CiC and the reason I stayed, is that they are willing to share the knowledge, experience and skills that feed that creativity and talent.

I am Paddy, living in Wiltshire, UK. I retired six years ago, and decided to get back to my photography hobby. I have dabbled with cameras since buying an Agfa twin lens reflex camera (35mm film) in 1962(?) at the NAFFI at RAF Butzweilerhof, near Cologne. Started digital stuff with a Canon 350D soon after its launch (I had a good bonus in my sales job). Now attempting to use the 5D MkII! And joined a local photographic club. What's with all the wedding fashions/outfits? Was that a family affair, or is that a particular photographic interest?

I'm a new member here and I hope to keep learning new things in the world of photogarahy. I shoot nikon {d-80 and d-7000} and I have recently(about two years now) got back into photography after a 20 year break because of work and things. I'm now retired and up and shooting whenever and wherever I can. I'll try to figure out how to post and will jump in soon.
