Hello,
I am Teresa from Erie, Colorado. I just recently started becoming obsessed with my photography hobby and am trying to learn and improve. I am very impressed with the photos everyone on CIC has posted and only hope to come near to that level of skill some day!! I may even get up the nerve to post one of my photos one day. :-)

Welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have you join us.

Don't leave posting the first image too long because you'll learn more, and much quicker, by posting a few less than perfect ones initially.

I'm Linda from Kentucky, USA. My fledgling photography hobby started just over a year ago with the purchase of my first DSLR camera...a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. A few months later I bought my first telescopic zoom lens and to date, that's the extent of my equipment! I love practicing on my 8 grandchildren, and the flowers and birds in my back yard. I photographed my sister's wedding in May as a favor and was pretty pleased with most of the outcome, though the lighting was a challenge for a beginner with little equipment. I work full time and don't have the time I wish I did to practice and learn, so I look for tutorials that are easy to comprehend and to the point. I edit with free Picassa and the $25 version of Picnik as I can't yet afford Photoshop. Lightroom is next on my wish list.

The domain of panoramic photography was and continues a magic place to experiment trying achieve ever better results
in 2009 I had the chance to organize the international Panotools Meeting, where many fellow panographers visited Timisoara. Afterwards we had a memorable trip -

Hello there. If you've been lurking around, hopefully you've picked up a good sense of what CiC is all about and how it works. So, I hope you'll feel able to get right in with questions, discussions and, of course, images.

Unless Arbess is your real name (and if so, I apologise), you've maybe seen that most of us tend to use our real names on here. It makes communication more friendly and CiC is that sort of site. You can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts.

I read most of articles posted on the tutorials sections of this website - i have to say they were the most lucid and clear explanations i have read ! Obsessed with photography for 5 years but very recently made baby steps to move away from point & shoot. Purchased a Sony NEX 5N and getting ready to use it.

Hoping to learn a lot from the forum and its members ...
