Hi everyone,
I'm Rohinton, a new member to Cambridge in Colour. I live in Mumbai, India.
I have been into photography for about 40 years now, and I love nature an landscape photography the most. Also love Photoshop.
Greetings to all CiC members.
Hi CiC,
I am Raghu, from Glasgow Uk. I picked up photography as ahobby just over two years now, and
really enjoy it. Will participate in the forum and the competitions regularly now.
Cheers.
Raghu - Hello and welcome. I'm just up the road from you in Perthshire. Great to have another Scottish-based member on board.
I hope you've already seen that CiC is very much a learning community, the strength of which is the quality of the help and support that is on offer, both in the tutorials but also here in the forum.
So, I hope you feel able to participate through asking lots of questions, joining in discussion and, of course, posting up your images.
Do you have any particular subject interests; e.g. people, landscapes, cityscapes, etc.?
Hi, my name is Maria. I was born in Spain and moved to London 14 years ago. I recently decided to become a photographer rather than living with the regret -aiming to make a living out of it-.
There are lots of fantastic photographers out there -I see many on this site- and I want to become one ...
I have a website too www.mariaramil.com so there is some more info about me there.
Hi ,
I am called as "Kirupakaran" and I am presently living at Seattle, USA.
I love nature's beauty and capturing it on a photo is awesome. I always wanted to learn Photography and I hope I can learn from you all.
Thanks
Krupa
Hi, my name is John, and I am from the Panhandle Coast of Northwest FL. I love taking pictures in Black and White, which I understand is old school and not as accepted as the Photoshop or colored photos. I have been able to combine two of my passions which are riding my motorcycles across country and taking pictures along the way. I love bridges, old buildings and the odd shots.
hello there
I am annalyn newbie in this community..
Hi Colin,
Thanks for having me here.
I am looking forward to finding out. I am still setting up and haven't started doing commissions yet, so ... fingers crossed.
In the meantime, I am doing my best to learn fast and get the right things in place (insurance, advice, a better camera etc). The main thing, though, is getting the right people around me to keep myself motivated.
The rest I will leave to fate
Cheers
Maria

Hi, Joe here from west central Florida North of Tampa in an area called Spring Hill. My main interest is old rusty, dirty stuff to photograph. Starting into micro stock sales, Boy thats tough. Love outdoors and Photography. Using a Nikon D5000, up graded from a 35 year old Minolta SRT 201 about two years ago and finaly took it off of auto two months ago and I am having fun Know. Looks like a great site.
Annalyn - A very warm welcome. Thank you for joining CiC.
We know your name. But where are you?
You've maybe seen that most of us tend to use our real names on here. It makes communication more friendly and CiC is that sort of site. And you have used your rela name as your username, just like me. Did you know you can also go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.
CiC is very much about helping people learn and develop photographic skills. So plese ask any questions that you have.
Wonderful. Lots of mood and atmosphere. Love it.
Welcome, Joe. Great to have you here.
Delighted, also, to hear that the D5000 is now off auto (never to be put back on, I hope). The elarnign curve is pretty steep, but teh journey can be great fun.
CiC is certainly here to help with that. As iot says on the home page, this is a learning community. There is no such thing as a dumb question and everybody is encouraged to post up any photographically-related questions. In fact, it's what a whole lot of people on here want to see, so that they can offer advice and guidance and share their knowledge. And there's an awful lot of knowledge and experience on here. So, please do join in.
