It's good to have targets in life!
Hello and welcome. Glad to have you here. This forum and the tutorials that sit alongside it, are very much about learning. So, please do study the tutorials and do ask questions on here.
By the way, so that you don't continue to get people asking you what your proper name is, because most us use that on here, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.
Oh hi,
My interest in photography ws since I ws child, bt b'coz of me being busy at various stages I just could not realize my hobby but off I have started taking it seriously. I would request the forum to help me in honing my skills
You will certainly receive that help if you ask for it. But you need to ask questions so that people know what it is you wish to learn.
The tutorials that form part of CiC along with this forum, are an excellent resource for people wishing to learn. They cover all the main subjects that you need to know about in order to produce high quality images.
I hope you enjoy being part of the forum and find that it does help your learning.

Now - we've really got some talking to do!!
Welcome, Pieter. Great to have you here.
My other love in life is wine. What were you growing? Did you make the wine as well?
I hope you enjoy being part of CiC and that you'll want to stay around for a while.
Super images. Please post them into the main 'comment and criticism' areas and/or into the competition threads, where they will be seen by a bigger audience that might see them in here.

Hi: My name is Jim and I live in the state of Michigan near Grand Rapids. I have a Nikon D5000 and I would like to learn how to operate it better and take better pictures.
Hi, my name is Paula Jo Nyman. I currently live in Beulah, ND with my husband, Kris. We have 1 daughter, Annika who is just about to turn 23! I am originally from Boulder, Colorado. I am currently staying at home, after most recently working in our community hospice as the Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator. My love for photography started several years ago and in the past 3 years have been using my first DSLR, an Olympus E-510. I have a good eye for color and composition and love to create art/collages from my photos. I am trying to start a business: paulajo Photo Designs. I hope to learn a lot from all of you here in this community and look forward to checking out all the wonderful tutorials.
Welcome aboard Paula. You're in the right place to learn a thing or two lol. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I look forward to seeing your work.
