Hello Rudolf and a very warm welcome to CiC.

I hope you are enjoying the transition to digital photography. I always feel that the basic skills and creativity required to make an image are teh same no matter the medium of capture. Yes, the technical processes are different, but the ability to 'see' a good image, compose and expose it well, remain the same.

I do hope you enjoy being part of this forum and I look forward to seeing some of your pictures.

Morning Everbody,
My name's James, originally from the Uk but currently residing in sunny Spain (although not so sunny now). I have always been into photography, usually got pretty creative taking stills of everything. I have only had my camera for a little under a month, its a Nikon D50, a hand-me-down from daddy dearest and have been snapping pictures with it ever since! I found this website by accident but once reviewing its content along with tips, tutorials and the amazing gallery it has to offer, I could not refuse! I hope to learn as much as possible and I will also upload what I can once I advance.
I hope you all have a lovely Thursday, I'll be out in the city with trusty camera at my hip.

Hi everyone, my name is Andrea. I live in the Rocky Mountains of Northern Colorado, USA. I have been involved in photography off and on for several years, learned by reading books and joining forums, but I want to take my photography to a new level.
My first camera was a Minolta X700, then a Canon EOS Elan 7e, from there I went digital and 3 years ago purchased a Canon Rebel XSi.
My husband and I also belong to a motorcycle ministry and do a lot of traveling on our bikes, I always try to capture as many photos as I can of our travels.

I hope to be able to learn from the tutorials and the more experienced members on this site on how to take my photography to that next level. I hope to eventually turn pro, but not until I feel that I can produce professional level quality photos.
