So that people know where you are, you can if you wish, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your location so that it shows up alongside all your posts, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.

I hope that being part of CiC does contribute to your developing knowledge and skills and supports you in producing the images you want. Although, I have to say that to produce the highest quality images (and you have the equipment to do that), you would need to be shooting in RAW and getting invovled in post-processing. Once you begin to post images asking for comment and criticism, I think you will find a lot of the advice and suggestions made, involve aspects of post-processing.

Hi ... Transplant from Australia and have had fun with cameras for years, almost all Canons. I'm trying to branch out from photographing flowers as I seem stuck there! Had fun discovering the bulb setting and taking photos of fireworks at the Golden Gate Bridge 75th anniversary. I know very, VERY little about photography but really enjoying learning while I play. Great to be part of this wonderful site.

I suspect you're being modest, Wendy, but I hope that you'll quickly feel that CiC is the appropriate online community for you to be part of in order to learn and develop your knowledge and skills.

I think you'll find a community of people who will be supportive, happy to answer questions and give advice and who enjoy making images, rather than getting totally lost on who has the latest gear and forgetting that the equipment is only a tool in the creative process.

And i love Micro 4/3 camera, as it is not bulky to travel it around. I am so inspired by Street/travel photography. Hoping to learn useful stuffs from all of you! :) Sounds awesome

Hi everyone, my name is Denise and I live in Western Australia. I have been interested in photography for a long time but now have the time to learn more about my camera and improve my skills. The website is very good and caught my interest immediately. I think I can learn a lot here. I presently have a Nikon D3000 but feel I will need to upgrade in the not too distant future.

Alfred - I hope that being involved in the CiC forum can help you build up that knowledge and skill. I think it worked for me!

There are lots of people on here who are very willing to share their knowledge and experience to try and help others. So, please do get right in there with questions, pictures for comment etc.

There are quite a few people on here who work with 4/3 equipment and it is, of course, the ideal instrument for street photography.

I hope we will see some of your pictures being posted up onto the forum.

I like study and tutorials, I just found most of your tutorials are useful so I decide to join this site, I like to post my photos as well so I can get your advices and it sure will improve my skills.

My gears are Canon Rebel T2i and 18-55mm IS II, I need to decide what lens I want to buy.... awww it is hard, I like wide photography and Macro It's better call it Close-Ups... I like to buy a 15-85mm lens also I like to have 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.8... and...

Sorry sometimes I talk too much, I am really like comment on photos, many people don't like that and I am just wondering to know why they make flickr account!!! (Some blocked me, maybe my comments look like spam to them, who knows)

Hi, i'm Dr Krishna Kumar from Kerala, India. I got introduced to the world of photography with my mom's Pentax MEsuper now retired from service. After a break from film photography became digital with my Canon powershot and brothers Fuji Finepix. Now upgraded recently with Nikon D5100. hope I can post nice pictures within a short time, thank you

I see that you are from a very beautiful part of the world - one I have not (yet) visited, but am determined to do so one day. So, if your interest is landscape photography, I believe you will have plenty of subject matter to choose from.

I found this site when I was looking for information on Google. I love the photography and am very interested in photographers from around the world. i assume this is from England. I am exploring the site. Thanks for having me.
