I am Mahavir Dabral from Lucknow, India. I am new to this site, in fact I joined only few hours back. I am learning photography as a hobby. I am sure I will enjoy the experience.

Hi all - I am amazed at the quality and diversity of skills, creativity and learning provided in this community - I am very excited to participate and get feedback on my work and do the same for others - I have been taking photos since I was 7 years old and never stopped. I love to shoot many things and learn new ways to make a visual impact and emotional connections with my work. Cheers, Michael

Glad to see you are posting already - the Mini Comps serve their purpose, but if you ever want some constructive feedback, they are not the place for it, here is a thread that will help you, or any other new member with that.

How to Get Effective Feedback for your Posted Images

btw, I'm not suggesting there was anything wrong with your pictures, just that some people come here and only ever post images in Mini Comps and I'm sure they miss out on a lot.

Shall I stop digging now? :rolleyes:

We do prefer to have a first name, makes us more friendly, but it isn't compulsory :)

It maybe because I'm working with a MAC but you make it awful difficult to post a photo, as a matter of fact so far it's been impossible.
