If you wish to be called by the name 'Awykz' here on the forum you can go to Edit Profile and enter that name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.

Just found this site -- I an PETER from BRENTWOOD, Essex ( England) NOT the 'American' Brentwoods !!
I have been in Photography since 1951 when I joined the School Photo-Soc. and have been in 'Clubs' ever since-- I am Past President of Barking Photo-Soc. and Brentwood Photo. Club -- I have my own darkroom and do all my own B&W and most of my colour RA4 printing -- I USED to Exhibit in National and International Exhibitions but it has just got SO expensive with the FEES and especially the British POSTAGE gone up so much ! I have many camera 'systems' -- keep getting FREE GEAR from Club members and widow ladies ( Wife cannot complain if it is FREE !! -- but she has as many SHOES as Imelda Marcos ! )

Hi everyone, my name is Felipe and I'm (was) more like "point and shoot", but lately discussing with some friends I decided to learn what happens inside the camera ... and just registered in CiC to do so.

Last month I bought a Canon S100 to start my quest. I uploaded one picture that I took one the very first day with this camera!

My name is Jacqui and I am a retired litho printer, living in Nottingham. I was born in Northern Ireland, love my homeland but am very proud of my adopted city. Photographically, my main interest is Natural History and my greatest joy is to spend days walking at Nature reserves and Country Parks. I also like black-and-white portraiture (don't do enough of it) and dabble a bit in Photoshop. I'm looking forward to being part of CIC, it looks to be a very interesting and informative site.

I am quiet new to photography and I final found something I real have a passion for.

I brought a D3100 with kit lense but sold them and brought a Sigma 85mm f1.4 EX DG, Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G and a Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC
