Hi Anibal,
Welcome to CiC thank you for joining.:)
You say you do a lot of 'Product photography' may I ask what products you photograph?
I'm sure you will enjoy being a member of the forum, but don't forget this site has some very good tutorials that are well worth a look at.
You might want to consider updating your profile to include your name and a rough location to where in the world you are. That way they will appear in any of your future posts; just like mine are shown on the left.
I look forward to seeing your pictures and talking to you further.
Kind regards
John

Hello Casey and welcome to CiC.
I hope that you'll enjoy being a member. It's a very friendly place, with some wonderful photographers who are always willing to share their expertise.
You might want to update your profile with your name and whereabouts you are in the world. That way, we can see it against any of your posts, and it all makes things a bit friendlier.
I see that you have already entered a mini competition with one of the shots from your trip. Good luck :)
Dave

Hello Andrew and welcome to CiC from the other side of the Pennines :)
Welcome, too, to the wonderful world of digital - it really does open up new horizons. The digital darkroom is a lot lighter and less smelly than the old one was - it is a lot easier to see what you are doing.
I hope you'll enjoy participating in the forums and, since you are new to digital, don't forget the tutorials. They are reckoned to be some of the best on the net.
Dave

Hello Everyone
I am Samantha, from Australia. I have always love taking photos, (life, travel, wildlife, just getting in close ups) but now really interested in learning all I can to improve, especially in travel photography. I am a novice, so I look forward to reading all here. :D
cheers
Samantha
Re: NEW MEMBER? please introduce yourself here
Hi Samantha, and a warm welcome to CiC. I think most of our Aussie members are from the other side of the country, so it's nice to have someone from WA :). Sounds like you have a great range of interests so I hope you are going to show us some images before too long.
This forum is all about learning and sharing, so ask anything you wish, read the tutorials and pitch right in :D
Hope to hear more from you soon,
Dave

Hi - I've registered the User Name: Squerryes, useful as a shorthand name, but my full name is: Peter Talbot. I'm not too sure as to how fill in this intro but here goes: male, married, aged 70, resident Westerham, UK, retired Cttee Member The Camera Club, Life Member The Camera Club (www.thecameraclub.co.uk). When it comes to photography, my major interest is capturating images of people, often in the 3rd World, to be reproduced (void of Copyright and Fee) to promote the activities of the several Charities with which I'm involved. I think that's enough for now, thanks for letting me join. Peter
Re: NEW MEMBER? please introduce yourself here
I'm having a bit of a problem introducing myself - there would seem to be a glitch somewhere. I'll try again later.
Squerryes : AKA: Peter Talbot
Re: NEW MEMBER? please introduce yourself here
Hey !! it worked, maybe I was too impatient !! Digital is great and I'm now using Nikons' very latest professional DSLR. But, I'm still using my old Nikon F3T and getting to grips with the arcane Platinum and Palladium printing process. Peter

Peter - Well done. You managed to get all the info up here.
A very warm welcome to CiC.
There's only one other thing you might like to do - So that you don't continue to get people asking you what your proper name is, because most us use that on here, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.
I hope you enjoy being part of CiC and as well as being able to benefit from the contributions of others, I hope you will make your knowledge and skills available through your posts so that people can learn from you. CiC is very much that sort of sharing resource.
Re: NEW MEMBER? please introduce yourself here
Hi everyone, my name is David and I have been lurking on the forum for several weeks and decided to formally join. In my younger years I took a lot of photos on a Minolta 35mm. since then I have done years of digital point and shoot. So now I am using a new Canon Powershot SX50HS and feel a bit underpowered compared to many in this forum. It shoots RAW and I have a lot to learn about PP work as well as improving overall ability. I dont really have a style or focus, I take photos for my enjoyment and expression. Thanx for the welcome.

A very warm welcome, David. Thanks for deciding to join up and I hope you do find that being part of CiC helps you learn and develop knowledge and skills.
As for it being about enjoyment and expression - absolutely. Unless you're trying to make a living from it (in which case it's also good if you can enjoy it), then it is totally about gaining pleasure from creating something.
Re: NEW MEMBER? please introduce yourself here
Hello,
I am new here and I would not call myself a photographer but I do love to take pictures. Also it seems that every time a take a series of pictures I always get a few that are way better than the rest.
Anyway, I love to take pictures, build websites, gardening, dogs, horses, and woodworking.
Re: NEW MEMBER? please introduce yourself here
Howdy folks!! My wife & I are intermediate photogs. We shoot a lot of wildlife, mostly wapiti, grizzly & black bear, moose, rocky mountai goats &, big horn sheep & wolves. We live close to Glacier Nat Park & we visit Yellowstone 30 to 40 days a year. We are beginning a wild journey into the world of producing & selling calendars. We are avid dancers (country swing). We also love to travel & meet new friends.

Hi,
Welcome to CiC, thank you for joininig.
I think we all get some shots that turn out better than others; I think it's part of the course as we continue to learn.:)
It would be nice if you would consider editing your profile so that includes your real name, most of us use real names here; just make things feel a little friendlier.
What camera / kit do you own?
I hope you enjoy the tutorials and forum.
I look forward to seeing your first picture post and talking to you further.
Kind regards
John

Hello! I am excited to join your forum! I am from Costa Rica and I am passionate about photography, so I have been studying everything I find about it, but my biggest problem is then put into practice! I had never joined a forum, and I love the idea of learning from all of you and I hope to bring something too! I use a canon 40D.

Hi Jeff,
Welcome to CiC.
Well with 40 years experience, I'm sure you will be able to help some of the 'Newbies' here at CiC. I'm sure you will enjoy the forum and hope you find the tutorials interesting as well.
It would be great if you would edit your profile and add your real name and a rough location so it shows on all of your future posts; most of us use real names here.
I look forward to seeing your pictures and talking to you further.
Cheers
John
