So that you don't continue to get people asking you what your proper name is, because most us use that on here, you can go to Edit Profile (under 'Forum Actions' on the Menu Bar), or you can just press on 'Settings' on the menu bar right up at the top rigth of the window. Once there you can enter the name by which you wish to be addressed under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.

Hello Doc. You're forgiven!! The important thing is that you've found CiC now.

The name comes from the fact that the site owner, Sean (McQ), did his post-grad studies at Cambridge and, whilst there, started up the website. Hence we have a US-based site with a British-English spelling of colour.

I hope you enjoy being part of the forum.

Hi my name is Geoff, I ve owned Pentax SLR when film was all the rage but stopped using them. 2 year ago I bought the Kx model because I could use the lenses I already owned with the camera. I have struggled to find the time to learn to use the camera properly and was hunting for tips when I came across your site. I will persevere and try and get into the habit of using the camera daily and perhaps show some photos as time goes by.
