Hi Everyone!
My name is Tim and I'm from New Brunswick, Canada. I just found this great site and decided to join the fun. I have some experience with mostly Pentax cameras and love to learn. I would like to post some images from time to time to get feedback and gain some insight. Also, I am a Graphic Designer by trade but mostly work with large format digital printers. So, I may be able to contribute some insight back to the group in those areas. Thanks, Tim.
Hi Geoff,
I am also a Pentax user, for the same reasons as you, struggled to find time to use it, am a new member too. There, something in common already.
Hello!
Am Cat, am a confused photographer. Found this link through google hit searching for magnification ratios for extension tubes and macro filters of sorts. You have a very informative site and awesome photos! Hope to learn and somehow find a way to improve my snaps.
Hello and welcome to CiC. I hope that this site, with its forums, helpful and knowledgeable members, and tutorials will help you to achieve your goal.Hi every, my name is WilsonBela
This is a friendly place, and it would also be good if you could edit your profile to let everyone know whereabouts you are in world, and how you’d like to be known (in CiC terms your “real name”). To do that, you click Settings (right at top), then Edit Profile (on left) and put your first name in the Real Name field and where you are (roughly) in the Location field.
Best wishes,
Dave

Hello,
I'm Jean, from Lorient, Brittany in France. I'm addict to photography for years, I spend all my time left in research on the Web to find tips or help, but I'm not behind my camera (Nikon D800 E) I'm on my computer with Lightroom or Photoshop and so on.
I like portraits, street portraits as well as studio ones. landscape, architecture.
Welcome, Jean. Thank you for deciding to join CiC.
There are other residents of France who are members of the forum but none, I think, from Brittany. So, you are particularly welcome. Other than La Cite and St Malo, I regret that I do not know Brittany very well.
I hope you enjoy being part of CiC.
Hello Jean. I don't know Brittany well either - but I did post an image of Concarneau in the current monochrome mini comp
Hi,
My name is Yvonne. Ive been enjoying photography for 30+ years and feel that I have "peaked" at average, so am looking forward to exchanging ideas and learning a lot more to improve my skills. Love the tutorials and am finding the forums really informative.

Hello Charles and thank you for deciding to join CiC. I hope you enjoy being involved and that it does help you develop your photographic knowledge and skills.
By the way - If you wish you can go to Edit Profile and put in your location, so that it appears in the sidebar alongside your message, just like mine beside this message. Then everybody knows where everybody else is.
Thank you! I certainly look forward to receiving help in taking beautiful pictures!!
