Paris - View from #8 Rue des Lombards
This is the shot from an apartment we rented for a week on Rue des Lombards, downtown Paris about 10 years ago.

A really interesting composition.
What would you think of boosting vibrance and adding a touch of local contrast?

Thanks Dan - I had already boosted the local contrast (I generally stay just below the threshold where people will start to notice it) but virtually never push the vibrance anymore; that is just my current taste in PP work.
The difference between the two images is very subtle; thanks for the suggestions!

I really like this image...
I love scenes of the back roofs and courtyards of French cities. I once lived in a villa located in Saigon, Vietnam (circa. 1966) that had the same type of view. In fact, during that era, Saigon reminded me very much of France. It was nicknamed "The Paris of the Orient"...
Unfortunately I no longer have the hard copy images that I shot many those many years ago. It is a great advantage for me to have images saved from my first digital cameras seventeen years ago...

I love the colour combination. The spots of orange is marvelous. What impressed me most, however, is the composition of the image.
Cheers Ole

Nice shot.
@Dan - livelier more eye catching, but less authentic than Manfred's original I feel. I wasnt there, but I know the area.
