Today is the beginning of another week of this 2020 Project 52
Let's show what I have done so far.

I had a very productive day.
I have not only printed images but also going in some hours or perhaps tomorrow, subscribe to LensWork Exploring the Possibilities. The magazine has been subscribed from long time now as I have all the issues from number 100 until this day and... I have even been published in one of them. Isn't that great ? Oh well...
The last issue is number 147 as you see I don't have that many... just 47.

The printing work will be in another post which I am about to prepare.

I have showed somewhere in this forum that I present some of my work in A5 Folios printed in Fine Art Ilford paper.
Today I made a Folio on "Devotion" It looks like this and has 6 images inside which I show bellow.
All photographs shot in Guatemala, last year 2019.

To end the week and before another of confinement, a simple square shot.

I defined in my group of photography a simple task:
"PiC - Light from the outside" - It could be a thread oh yes... The assignment will go on next week and I will let you know the themes I define and I will show you one or two shots of the best I produce.
Perhaps also a bad one, why not ?

I almost forgot ! - PiC stands for "Pictures inside Confinement" kind of meaning pictures from what you can find in your confined space anything being valid, from forks to statues... whatever ! Any view to the outside world is forbidden

Yes I agree with Judith, that one is a very simple image but it does work well.

The first of the embroidery images is also good.

This scene is definitely one of those situations where the Lightbox view is much better than the initial image which lacks fine detail.

That looks like a very old design of hinge and attachments, Antonio.

Thank you Geoff but I do not know what the Lightbox is...
This piece of furniture was bought 45 years ago in the north of the country. It stores glasses and bottles inside.
The screws are not the best solution but it has always been like this...

For the higher definition Lightbox image just click on the thread image. Sometimes that larger and clearer image makes a considerable difference when there is fine detail or subtle colour tints etc. I'm not sure if it is still called the Lightbox view; but that is what we called it some time ago. Also, I sometimes right click an image and select View Image which takes me back to the original uploaded image; but this option may vary with different browsers.

Those slotted head screws were never decorative, although I tended to have all the slots facing in the same direction thinking that looked more professional.

The domed head nails look more traditional.

I have an old looking piece of furniture which I suppose you might call a sideboard that was given to my mother some years ago by a relative who said it came from a priory and was very old. Eventually my mother passed it on to me. But when I looked at it more closely, to treat woodworm, I decided that the plywood bits probably came from the second Elizabethan period.

Probably a replica item from the 1930-1950 period.

Thank you Geoff for the explanation. I always (or most of the time) post the photos with the same size/link. I see here that they look larger when not clicked...

You are absolutely right about the head nails but they have been (and will be) like this for long time now.

Yesterday I made a modification in the photo which I can' see now as published above. Perhaps it is in cache or whatever, so I publish it again today with a small difference.

a little less on the pistils: the ones in the background a little more in focus would be more pleasant for my eye...

Thank you for your comment. I tend to use very large apertures even when shooting pretty close, like here where I was some 70cm away from the flower. But this is a very simple and easy shot as you know...

And I am perhaps a bit too much a fanatic of perfect focus !
