House Training Aid...
Many of our rescue dogs come to us completely un-house trained. Peluche, in this image, had never been allowed inside a house during his entire life and therefore was totally un-house trained.
We use these belly bands to allow an untrained male dog some freedom while he is learning to be house trained. We place a ladies' incontinence pad (cut in thirds) at the bottom of the pad which will absorb the urine...
We frequently, take off the pad and monitor it for any "accident" (replacing it when wet) as we put the dog outside with the rest of our house trained dogs. It doesn't take a long time for the dog to learn where to go potty and as soon as he regularly has a clean pad, we know that he has progressed in his house training.
We have a large assortment of these pads which were made for us by a volunteer.
Note: this is not a "band-aid" to be kept on the dog all day long, it is simply a house training aid...
