I shot this in the basement using a lighting technique where I diffused light from a beauty dish through a scrim above the subject. The background is one of the hallways of the cold war Diefenbunker nuclear shelter.

I love it! The background lighting is controlled well.
The "eye" is inspired.
What really made this image good is the strange skin colouring.

Wow, very striking Manfred. This certainly does have that Wow factor. As Ole says - it is great thinking to have only one eye highlighted. Inspirational!
