Like the colors of the flower and the colour of the background; i have a feeling that it would be better if the background is made less brighter, it won't compete with the subject to drag our attention...

The colours of the leaves and composition are great but I agree that the white in the background is too bright and therefore distracting. In the b/w version it is the opposite. The leaves are rather blown out and reducing the highlights might help.

the effort was to make the leaf almost a metallic sliver as associated with royalty. the back ground in the color version was darkened, will bring it down a little more. thanks on the pointers.
