    Abstract- Through a Glass Darkly

I am probably losing it... but the title came before the image, and entirely appropriately in the context of the title, I'm not quite sure how I came to put this together, but it does seem to express what I was thinking!

Hi Nandakumar... its easier to show than explain.. the glass 'ball' actually came from a broken garden spinner and I had thrown it in my junk tray (meaning that place where I put interesting thing that one day I might get round to doing something with!!! )

So a couple of days back I did. You can see from the shots below that the glas has a slight amber tint, as well as being pretty imperfect, so I used the little pen torch roughly aligned on the center? axis and put a bit more yellow light on it. Shooting was done in the dark. I had an idea for a stacked shot but ended up using three images and blending.

I'm still childishly pleased with about an hours 'messing around' as my mother used to say
