    Shooting video with 550D Problems

Can anyone tell me why when shooting video with my 550D, it only lets me shoot approx 10 secs then stops ?

It will then allow me to shoot another 10 sec and so on and so on ???

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Just a thought - is your card fast enough to accept video? I believe the card needs to be up to a particular standard to capture video on.

    Regards
    John

Thanks guys, this now makes sense, just one more... what improvments will a faster card have on the camera alone ??? is it worth getting one ?

When trying to capture a burst of images, say birds in flight, you will probably be able to shoot more RAW images before the buffer fills up and starts slowing things down.

Other than that, nothing I can think of.
