Oliver at 525mm
Here is a hand held shot of Oliver taking a sun bath. I used the full (525mm equivalent) zoom of my 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS lens on the A6600 camera. Manual exposure 1/1,000 second wide open at f/6.3 with auto ISO resulting in ISO 200.
In this case, I had the Animal Eye-AF off - not for any particular reason, it is just that I had the camera set up this way when I grabbed it for this shot
I like using the lens wide open (or occasionally stopped down to f/8) with the exposure at 1/1,000 second and auto ISO. This usually gives me an ISO of between 100 and 400 outdoors in bright sun - which is well within the capabilities of the A6600.
