That is a flower i am seeing -at least as an image- for the first time; thank you very much for posting, Raymond; i think it spreads good fragrance too; am i right? will it spread the petals more or stay like that only?

they do open up some more , not for long and they do smell nice. have to ask my babe the name as she is knowledgeable with plants, I simply love to capture them.

Raymond - I assume you used direct flash to light your subject? That light tends to be quite hard and is generally not great when shooting flowers. A larger light source (with respect to your subject) will give a more pleasing image.

Thank you and yes I am aware of that fact,I thought this would be more intense of an effect.
