135mm f/2.0 Equivalent
This is a Sears Auto 135mm f/2.8 M-42 mount lens mounted on my Sony A6600 adapted with a Kiron M-42 to NEX focal reducer resulting in an equivalent 135mm (no need to consider the crop factor with the focal reducer) f/2.0 equivalent lens.
This twelve U.S. Dollar lens from Goodwill can deliver some reasonable image quality.
However, this was just a fun test for a twelve dollar lens. Most often, I will use an adapted M-42 lens for the unique rendering, not because it is cheap.
The Sony Focus Peaking makes it as esay to focus adapted manual focus lenses on a Sony mirrorless camera as it was to use the manual focus lenses on an SLR camera in the film days.
