Rio captured with an old lens.

I had some fun today capturing Rio with an old 1980's lens....Pentax 85mm f2 (set to f4). I used a flash in manual power mode on the hotshoe with a diffuser.

Rio captured with an old lens.

    Very nice!!

The amount of flash and spread of it's energy, along with an excellent combination of aperture/distance blur, brings a really good impression of depth to the image.

Thank you Ted. It was good fun to do this with an old "uncoupled" lens. I used Manual exposure on my camera as I usually do with flash but also had to use manual flash exposure. A few test shots and as they say "Bob's your uncle"

Great combination - lovely dog and 85mm lens combined with photo skills...
