Good bokeh in the first one.

Re: After the rain
A nice time to get out with your camera Peter.
The first image is a wee bit busy for my eye, I’m not sure why, maybe the spacing of the lanterns. The second image I really like, the way the basket forms a triangle & the the focal point of the fuschia flowers, particularly with the basket on that side.
It gives an extra ooomph to the image for me & that the main flowers in focus are not only the ones with water droplets, but petals not yet open.

Liked them both. Since in the first image colors in the background is not strengthening the subject, a B&W conversion can work even better, i feel

Re: After the rain
Well done for taking the opportunity to make some images incorporating the rain drops. I like both of them, though I agree with the others who commented on the background of the first one. It may be worth calming those background colours down as they draw the eyes to them.
I would wear my camera out if I went out into the garden after it had rained here in the UK, June has been “Dreich” to say the least. July seems to be heading the same way!

Re: After the rain
I changed my opinion; earlier i was the image in the tiny screen of my mobile handset. But now when i see it in my laptop screen, i see the first one also a beautiful image; colours beautify the image only

Re: After the rain
Very nice, I think number one is my favorite. Like both but #1 edges out for me, I like the structures against natural beauty.
