RB67 prism finder repair

Thinking of getting one of these but I have notice a few of them my have some fungus, It doesnt look like much without having it in hand to disassemble and clean it up, but I may be wrong... Anyone get into one of these? unless there is some odd thing about it I dont see much problem doing it.

Frankly, as this any dirt or contaminants are not in the optical path, I'm not quite sure what the concern is.

I'm looking at getting one of these for the Hasselblad, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm not shooting and processing film right now, but once I get back into the bid studio, that will be high on my list of things to shoot with.

Your right it wouldnt but im looking at those on Ebay and if I got and it did effect my ability to focus I could take it apart to clean. there not too cheap, cant imagine what one for a Hasselblad will cost.

Not too cheap is right. If you look at it, it is little more than a pentaprism in a housing with an eye piece to look through. Pretty simple technology.
