I have been photographing this solitary tree for many years, it's an iconic landmark, photographed by many and the background of numerous 'selfies' I see taken there.
Some months back the '
plant mangroves to save the coast and get our picture in the paper mob' decided it needed company. Unfortunately they did not consider these mangroves will totally hide it eventually and also capture floating rubbish.
This has been my first chance to capture it since the planting, unfortunately the wrong time of day but more planned.
