Another nice image of your subject, David.

I personally find the face a bit too hot and the camera right hand a bit too hot as well. That can be partially corrected by some burning those areas down. I'm not loving the hard shadows on the neck and on the face either. That suggests to me that your light was too far away. What type and size of modifiers were you using and how far away from the subject were they?

A good rule of thumb, especially when shooting women and children is to keep the light close to the subject; ideally the diagonal of the modifier for rectangular ones and the diameter for round ones; that tends to give softer, less distinct shadows.

    I tried some local adjustments:
    1. Opening the shadows around her neck and upper torso
    2. Reducing the brightness of her face and left hand
    3. Reducing the brightness of her forward foot

Like the lighting and the pose but agree a little too hot on the forehead and cheeks

80cm by 60cm rectangular box, less than 1m away as the photon flies - so roughly as you suggest they should be. However, it was desperately hot, 34°, and we were matting down hot spots on her face with powder every few minutes. The ones in this shot have already been burned in in PS, but it seems not enough in your view.
As for the shadows, I think the lights might have been too high. We were shooting with the model standing just before and I did bring them down quite a bit, but perhaps not enough ?

This is the RAW file straight from the camera converted to jpg so as to be able to post it - no other treatment.
