Focusing with Sony mirrorless cameras
IMO, Mark Galer has some of the most interesting, and valuable for Sony shooters, videos on YouTube.
Since I often shoot with Godox flash commanders, having the "Setting Effect" command as a toggle using the trash can button is quite helpful. IMO, anything that will increase the speed of my workflow when photographing a model is worthwhile. Mark has other helpful focusing hints in this video...

I tend to assign commands that I frequently use to specific buttons and, as far as possible, and since I shoot with both APSC (A6400 & A6600) and Full-Frame (A7iii) cameras; I try to have my specific button assignments mirror each type of format camera.
Using specific button assignments as well as making good use of the Function Button simplifies the otherwise somewhat complicated menu system of the Sony mirrorless cameras. The "My Menu" choice also tends to simplify and make the menu choices easier for me. In fact, after shooting for about a year with Sony cameras, I found that the Canon Menu was the one that was lacking in clarity and speed.

Such capabilities are available in many cameras. It's just that not everyone knows how to use them.
