In Need of a Little TLC
Took this on our precovid 4 week trip around Ireland. I love old buildings and this one I found particularly beautiful, if a little neglected. All C&C welcome.
I think the small image that we have to post here hasn't done this pic any favours. If you are interested in seeing a full size version please click the link at the bottom

Re: In Need of a Little TLC
If I may make a suggestion, to my eyes it appears that the image is a little flat, as it may be clipping. Not knowing what you are working in, maybe lowering the whites, and highlights some, than increasing the blacks will produce a richer looking image. That is only my suggestion, it would have been nice to also be there like the composition of the shot very much.
Cheers: Allan

The building looks very comfortable with its surroundings.
Have you tried cropping a little from the lower edge?

Nice suggestions, for me the refining of tones , contrast and midtones will significantly enhance your well composed capture.

Re: In Need of a Little TLC
A pleasant image, but in my view the most significant issue is that the whole image is a touch "hot". Pull down the mid-point and then re-evaluate what else you might want to adjust.

Many thanks to all for the feedback. You have all pretty much confirmed what I thought and particularly the problem of the 'blank sky.' A little reprocessing methinks then on to the next image. Again my thanks.

I think you are right that the big version looks better (at least on my tablet) , but I've no idea why!
