Like the old story goes. Lock your spouse and your dog in the trunk of a car for an hour. When you open the trunk, which
one is happy to see you? Always good to see your four legged crew. I like the wooden unpainted fence by the tree. Would make a nice photo backdrop for Rivers if you could get him to stand still. Daniel

Try using the burst mode. You will have more to pick from. Different tilt of the head and so forth can make a difference. Read your critique. Man, your tough. Perhaps crop it into a portrait view to highlight subjects. Just my 2 cents. 😀

Beautiful dogs. Sadly, their energy reminds me that my 13-year old goldendoodle is getting old. That is the only darn bad thing about dogs - they don't live long enough!

Awww... yes that is so true. We also still have our 13 year old black girl. She's still going, but much much slower. I just love these creatures. So much fun and joy. I hope your doodle brings you much joy in her remaining years Richard.

I took our boy Kulshan (lots of separate time and work during the week for all of them) for a 6.5 mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail in the Mount Ashland area of it yesterday afternoon, and he came home and started herding his ball all over the yard. These field labs are never ending energy

Thanks Daniel, that's a really good suggestion. I wish I could turn off burst mode on our pups for a brief photographic moment ;-)
