    Logging Truck

This was on a bridge on a dirt logging road in Katadhin, Maine. My wife waved at the trucker and he gave her a thumbs up. Comments welcomed.

    David,
Normally one wouldn’t want the power lines in an image.
This time, I really think they work, with the lines of the fence, the lines of the road (that the truck isn’t on) The line of the logs and pattern on the cab of the truck, I think they all work together to give a vibrancy and sense of movement to the image.
I can almost hear the thundering of the truck as it crosses (is it a bridge?)

The only aspect that didn’t appeal is the greenery that the truck is brushing past, but hard to remove it.

    Thanks for sharing

Thank you, Nandakumar. I was on the bridge to take photos of some mountain scenery when the truck came by.

The greenery is growing at the edge of the bridge's walkway. Initially, I thought the greenery were branches hanging off the logs. Looking at other photos of the are disproved that notion. Thank you for viewing and commenting. Daniel

Looks good to me except for a few bits of over exposed clouds. Could you go back to the original image and save a bit of detail by working on a copy with lower brightness settings then merge together with masking?

Also, I am happy with the side foliage but on the right edge there are a few very small bits which I would clone out. The two bigger bits work fine.

Thank you Geoff for comenting. That bit of floating greenery on the right I can take care of. My wife was standing right under it on the edge of the frame. I painted her out. Im not sure about the sky. For me the sky is acceptable but I'm sure it can be improved upon. Will take a look at that. Thank you for the suggestions. Daniel

Wonderful image. With more and more fires, maybe these will become a rare sight.

Not keen on the pylon, but given the circumstances of the shot, obviously no time to look for better pov.

Excellent capture. The truck seems to be bursting out of the background. Great 3D shot.

Thank you David for commenting. I like this POV and the pylon. I have other POV. Mostly the back of the truck leaving. This POV is more interesting.

Thanks Joe. that's a cloud of dust trailing the truck.
